Restaurants are no different than design. Fretting about staying in fashion is the fastest way to find yourself out of fashion. This is the approach favored by Chef Jason Tilmann and the Strand Bistro. Eschewing what’s trendy and in the moment for classic American dishes.
Showcasing a selection of courses that includes small plates and platters, opening courses and entrees, Chef Tilmann's classic contemporary menu features specialties like Atlantic salmon with sautéed quinoa and arugula, green apple-cabbage salad and pickled mustard seed caviar; coco-rubbed pork tenderloin with sweet potato puree, parsnip and pistachio butter. Some other guest favorites include yellow fin tuna tartare with white soy sauce, green apple-basil seed gelee and grapefruit crème as well as the Bistro Burger on a brioche bun with house cured pickled and English style fries.
Whimsical in design, the restaurant’s intimate dining room features a variety of special places for unique experiences, a built-in bench attached to the fireplace for romantic fireside chats and a mesmerizing fresh water fish tank.
The Strand Bistro features a full breakfast menu each morning, highlighted by specialty omelettes, made-to-order waffles and healthy fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal dishes for the light grazers among our guests.
Outdoor café dining is available during the warmer months.
